It's true. A small little present to yourself can make you smile, and give you a boost. I always feel like how we dress and/or our style reflects how we feel about ourselves.

Jergens works really well also. It is inexpensive and goes on clear, and smells subtly tropical. You will need to wait a few minutes to put on your clothes though not because it is going to come off but because the stuff is somewhat sticky...but the best by far. My bridesmaids swore by it, and it lasts a long time.

7. comments about: What to Wear over 40
Well said.Too much is never a good thing. So many young women feel like they need to be outrageous because when they get older they think they'll need to look matronly and that is not the case. It's all about knowing your body and knowing your style and sticking to it. I always enjoy Harper Bazaar's Beautiful at any age section each month where they show great looks for women in their 20's-70+. Can't wait for her article, I'm going to tell my mom and mother-in-law.

Fall Favorite

Yet another one of my favorite things for Fall...The Holiday Party dress. Yes folks it's only the end of October and I'm already thinking of my holiday party dress... and you should too.

Right now I'm digging this fuschia number from of my faves Julie Haus
In Lieu of Looking Bad...Shop here

So if you local ladies here in San Francisco are in need of some haute fashions I know where you can find it... and that's at In Lieu.
Not only are the fashions in style without being trendy and totally wearable but the staff is always helpful and nice.

Double Duty

I'm already starting to fall in love with fall fashions and for so many reasons.
For instance.....
I hate to work overtime but LOVE when my wardrobe does. This Nouveau Ruffles halter and Mini Dot Stretch Wide Leg Trouser pants by Mint Jodi Arnold pull double duty for day and night. Slip on a blazer for a day at the office, and then slip off the blazer for after hours fun.

Re: Bubble Dress: A Do or a Don't
while I agree that the bubble can be a hard look to pull off, I don't think that we can discount it's place on the fashion scene all together...it can be cute but a less voluminous bubble can also create a very sexy silhouette...I think we can expect some updates on the basic strapless above the knee bubble and continue to see the bubble around for a while longer
Re: Bubble Dress: A Do or a Don't
A bubble dress? No way! Not on me! The only person in the world who can get away with a bubble dress is Mischa Barton. I don't even think Sienna Miller can do a bubble...
Bubble Dress: A Do or a Don't
This weekend in Zara and Bloomingdales me and my mom saw bubble dresses, and she exclaimed " Oh, how cute" and held it up to me. I too thought they were cute, but thinkiong back to the first time I wore one (age 6) wondered if I would really wear it again. What do you all think??
